GIVING
At St. Andrew’s we believe that God calls us to give generously and joyfully from the resources He has blessed us with.
This will look different for each individual and family depending on your situation. We recognise that this period of uncertainty, in light of the cost of living crisis, may result in financial hardship for many of us and unfortunately the church is not exempt from this.
We believe and know that God is bigger than finances. He is holding us as a church and He is the same, yesterday, today and forever. We know that God is able to provide for all our needs and more. God graciously has decided to partner with us in seeing His kingdom come in Sneyd Green. He asks us to play our part, we do this by praying, serving and giving. Please do pray for God’s provision and ask Him what your part is in this.
For some people, this is a time of real financial hardship. This is not a time for increasing your giving, it is a time for us to be supporting you. If you and your family are experiencing particular financial difficulty at this time, please contact us in confidence and we will support you as best as we can.
As always we are incredibly grateful for the generosity of so many.
Ways to Give
Cheques and cash:
Each Sunday there is an opportunity to give via the collection plate at the back of Church. This can be via cash or cheque. Some people choose to give via the numbered envelope scheme which links in particular to our GiftAid system (see below). Alternatively, there are various ways to give online which saves you hassle and reduces our administration as a Church.
Standing Order/online payments:
It’s really easy to set up a standing order with your bank online. You can choose the amount you would like to give and this will automatically be taken from your bank account on the date/s you have selected. You can also choose whether you would like to give for a fixed or indefinite period.
The Church bank details are as follows:
Account Name: ST ANDREWS PARISH CHURCH
Sort Code: 09-01-54
Account Number: 00714000
Alternatively, please complete the Standing Order Form below. If you have any questions about setting up a standing order, please do not hesitate to contact us for more information and advice.
JustGiving:
We also use JustGiving as an additional method of making online donations.
JustGiving is simple and safe way to give online and can be used for one-off or regular donations. The Diocese cover additional administration costs of this platform so we receive 100% of your gift. If you are eligible, please remember to add Gift Aid to your donations too!
Gift Aid:
If you are a UK tax payer you are able to use gift aid on all your donations. This means that for every £1 given, the government will also donate 25p. With gift aid, donations will grow by 25% at no extra cost to you (or us!)
Please complete the Gift Aid form below and return it to us. If you’d like a paper copy sent to you, please get in touch.
legacies:
Historically, some people have chosen to leave a gift to St Andrew’s as part of their will. This has been a huge blessing to us in the past and has led to specific investment being possible in mission and ministry going forwards. If you would like more information on how you might do this, please contact us.
