PARTNER ORGANISATIONS
We work closely with a number of organisations locally, nationally and internationally, either sharing in ministry together, supporting them or benefitting from training courses and materials. Details of these organisations can be found below:
Saltbox is a local organisation providing community-based services across the city of Stoke-on-Trent for vulnerable and marginalised members of society. It also is a forum for leaders from all denominations to meet and network together.
Cross Rhythms is a local Christian Community radio station with a heart to reach the city of Stoke-on-Trent and beyond with the good news of the gospel.
Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
St Andrew's is a part of the Church of England and as an Anglican parish church falls within the Diocese of Lichfield.
New Wine is a national organisation with a heart to see local churches empowered and equipped to change the nation. James and Zara serve New Wine as local regional network leaders for the North Staffordshire area. At St Andrew's we host and promote training events and conferences throughout the year including the week-long United conference in Somerset each summer.
CEEC was first created by John Stott in 1960 to provide a “collective” evangelical voice within the Church of England.
Since then a large number of networks and groupings have emerged. Along with Diocesan Evangelical Fellowships, these network and groupings are affiliated to CEEC at a national level. CEEC exists to provide for the continuing need for an overarching group to which the networks can belong, based on common understandings of the Christian faith and its Anglican expression, and united by a common vision to promote and maintain orthodox evangelical theology and ethics at the heart of the Church of England.
